"Internationally known and widely traveled populist poet, performance poet, workshop facilitator and arts activist." During his illustrious career, M. L. Liebler has traveled this country and the world sharing his special insight into life as we see it and don't see it through his poetry and music. His travels have taken him to such far off places as Russia, Europe and China where he was the guest of the University of Hong Kong, China and University of Macau, Macau, China. Do poets have greatest hits collections? Well if not this won't be the first time ML has broken new ground in the world of poetry nor will it be the last. The book is a collection of poems that are identified by the location that inspired them over a span of several years. The CD is a collection of ML's work with the many incredible independent musicians who have combined to take spoken word and instrumentation to a new level. Personnel on the Music CD: M.L.'s poetry and the music of Al Kooper, Jorma Kaukonen (Hot Tuna/Jefferson Airplane), Country Joe McDonald, Mike Watt (The Minutemen & Firehose), Prof. Louie (The Rick Danko Band & producer of the final three The Band cds), Robert Jones, Stewart Francke & The Magic Poetry Band with Faruq Z. Bey, Xander Sky, Jere Stormer, and Stuart Tucker |
